Jen Pirak

Jen started with KPLZ in 1991 as an intern from the University of Washington (GO DAWGS!) where she graduated with a degree in Communications. Her first day at work was at a softball game where KPLZ was playing against Michael Bolton and his band! She was quickly snatched up by Kent and Alan to join the morning team as the show’s entertainment, shopping, etiquette and relationship connoisseur and became known as SUPER JEN. She then moved to afternoons to be part of the Kent & Jen in the Afternoon. Now she can be heard Sunday mornings 8a – Noon on STAR 101.5.

In addition to being on-air, Jen manages the STAR 101.5 Promotions & Marketing Department (aka Department of Fun & Games) ensuring that all contests, events and marketing are executed flawlessly.

Jen is a mom to two teenage daughters and 3 dogs. She loves spending time with friends and family (especially her two daughters & dogs), boating, crabbing, entertaining, shopping, traveling, yoga, self-improvement, going to concerts and plays, experiencing new adventures, baking, trying new restaurants & craft cocktails and most importantly spreading random acts of kindness and finding ways to make people feel special!
