Don’t let his name fool you. This boy is just  an elder bull looking for a nice place to retire. Spike was brought to the shelter through no fault of his own. He lost his owner and didn’t have any family in town to look after him. The volunteers that have met him have described him as “dorky” and “on his own program.” He likes his people but is really good at alerting you when someone approaches his home. Once you welcome people in the home he’s a proper host. His favorite activities are rolling on his back and eating treats. He kisses on the first meet so be prepared if you’re not into that type of thing. He spent 100% of his time with his person so he would love a person that works from home or is also retired themselves! The two of you could binge watch reruns or hang in the yard gardening. Heck he does great in a car so a road trip would be a great way to spend time together.
