Meet Pongo! Pongo is a brave, handsome boy who was pretty scared when he first arrived at the shelter. He has warmed up to shelter staff and volunteers and is letting his true personality shine. He loves treats and is eager to learn new tricks – he already knows sit and lie down. He has shown friendly behavior towards other dogs and would likely do well cohabitating with another dog (pending a successful meet and greet). He has spent time in a home with a respectful adolescent and did great with them! He is a true Velcro dog that prefers open spaces for living and walking. Although brave, he is a sensitive guy who has been startled easily in the past so gaining confidence and having a predictable environment is on his 2024 New Year’s resolution list.
