BIO

Utah’s foster parent said, “he is a VERY VERY good boy!” Super playful, he loves stuffies with squeakers (he’ll love them to death!) and especially playing tug-of-war. He’ll take his stuffy toys in the yard with him and roll around on his back in the grass with the toy in his mouth. This handsome guy loves people and will happily greet anyone you welcome into the house – he did well at a large party with guests aged 4 to 86. (He can play kind of rough, so for this reason isn’t the best match for a home with tiny tots.)

Utah is very affectionate and when play time is over, he loves to be petted and snuggle – he’ll curl up next to you and relax with his head in your lap. If you let him sleep on the bed with you, he might try to steal the covers! He likes routines and is clearly very smart. He knows sit, shake, down, drop (but that’s a hard one sometimes!). Utah is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He’s well-behaved in the house and has never been destructive, and though he prefers to be in your company, he’s also a good boy when left home alone. He is polite when getting a bath, even though it’s not his favorite thing. Utah can’t wait to meet you!
