People are traveling again this summer. The planes are full, and ticket prices are the highest they’ve been in five years.
That means finding airfare deals is going to be a challenge. And with ticket prices going up every month, the longer you wait, the more you’re likely to pay.
If you do find something that fits in your budget, you might want to book it. Find a better fare later one, and you can always cancel and rebook, as long as it’s not a basic economy ticket. Right now, except for basic economy seats, the cheapest seats on the plane, most airlines are not charging change fees.
If you do choose basic economy, make sure you understand all the restrictions that come with that lower price.
