Normally, one has to wait for a lunar eclipse to see what people call a Blood Moon but here on the night of August 2nd, 2010, the wildfires up in British Columbia have painted our moon a deep copper color. I took this photo with a DSLR camera through a small 80mm x 400mm telescope.
