Equinox Event to Support Child Abuse Awareness
Innocents Among Us, a non-profit children's advocacy organization focused on child abuse awareness education, will be hosting an Equinox Party and Psychic Affaire this Sunday, September 23 at Ballinger Commons, South Recreation Center, 2326 North 197th Place, Lake Ballinger from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This one-of-a-kind celebration of the Fall Equinox will feature psychic healers and a craft marketplace. In addition, a silent art auction featuring Northwest artists will take place throughout the the day. A highlight of the event will be the graffiti art challenge, where local graffiti artists will test their talents against one another in a safe, legal forum. All proceeds will go to benefit Innocents Among Us and its child abuse awareness education programs.
