I was a medical helicopter pilot for the US Army. We took part in what they called "The Search" the day after. The National Guard & Reserve took part in the search and rescue on the day of the eruption. More photos are available upon request.

Do you have more photos of Car 5 (the KOMO vehicle) that was left behind by Dave Crockett? I have been documenting the decay of Car 5 in Toutle for the last 10 years, and would love to see more if you've got it.
