Police responded quickly today to an accident at N. 125th Street & Densmore Avenue. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a suspect in an older model vehicle speed through the intersection, careen through a fence, off a small retaining wall, finally coming to rest at the front porch of a residence. The suspect immediately exited the car and began running from the scene, but neighborhood residents telephoned police who quickly nabbed the female suspect. At last report, she was being transported to the local hospital for possible injuries received in the crash.
