On March 23rd, 2010 several soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq flew into Seatac airport on flight AA621 from Dallas. I managed to capture a little bit of the excitement welcoming the soldiers home. As the soldiers walked from gate A7 past security, their families were anxiously awaiting. It seemed like the walk took forever since the families weren't allowed past security but could watch them walk all the way from the gate. Each soldier was greeted with hugs and kisses. The soldier I knew was Spc. Richard Carr. Spc. Carr has been in Iraq for almost 8 months. After several days of traveling, he finally made it home yesterday for his 2 weeks of leave. Hugging him is his fiance, Karly. The beautiful weather added to the exciting event. Thank you American Hero's for all that you do for our country.
