I am on board the USS Abraham Lincoln and we left Seattle on the 17th. Cruising around San Diego area now. Can't wait to get to fly off to San Diego Tuesday. I will upload images to FB later in the week. Brad Adams, Seattle

DW - You feel old? I was a 24 year old reactor operator on the Nimitz in 1978. Seems like we were always pulling into Naples.

Wow, I feel old. I went aboard the USS Nimitz for a tour in 1978 when it came to Fleet Landing in Naples, Italy. I was 10. It'd be cool to see it again after all these years, probably gone now.

The Nimitz was just making a short port call to pick up the "Tigers" that were coming aboard. They have been on an 8 month deployment and are returning home Friday morning. my husband is aboard so I am thrilled.

Don't know what the occasion is, but welcome. Is this going to be the permanent home???

Nice to see my old ship (plank owner). Is this just a short stay? Looks like the airwing is still on board.
