I am Michele Strand. My best buddy, Casey Jones is gone.Casey is a 6yr old Pekingnese with a smile that would melt your heart. On Wednesday, November 25th,2009 around 1pm Casey escaped from our Sammamish Pleateau home. He is a house dog except for his daily down the street and back home walk he stays in the house or his enclosed yard. He doesn't like to be far from me. I am disabled with fibromyalgia and have chronic pain. I am also deaf in one ear. Casey somehow knew I became deaf 3 years ago and would even know on his own to alert me to oncomining cars during our walk by stopping walking! I am alone most of my week days as my husband, Erik works long hours in construction. So ever since I got Casey when he was just a baby we have been inseperatable. Please Please help me find him. He is so little and I am afraid he might have got injured or worse as SE 32'nd Way is where a neighbors son thought he saw Casey running toward and that is a busy traffic road. I think Casey thought I left in my car as my son who is home from WSU used my car and I couldn't find Casey after he left. All the Shelters are closed until Saturday. If you saw him or picked him up please contact me or KOMO so I have something to be thankful for today. The day of light is arriving and I am going back out to look for him. We have been looking for him almost non stop. Could you take a walk if you live around SE 32nd Way and 238th-241'st Street?? Sunny Hills grammer school is near by as is the Sammamish fire department. I can't offer much in the way of a cash reward...but I can find something I own of value to thank you. We are not a wealthy family as far as money goes and Casey and my husband and son couldn't be replaced by any amount of money...So either before or after you have your Turkey dinner today could you get a little exercise and maybe you will give me the most meaningful reason to be thankful today in my life?
