Home for the Holidays – an Old Fashioned Christmas is a series of events in Downtown Snohomish, WA during the 2009 Holiday Season. Starting on the day after Thanksgiving when Santa comes to town in a horse-drawn carriage, and weekends through December until Christmas, you will find live holiday entertainment, fun and fancy shops, and delicious dining.

3:30 Snohomish High School Band
4:30 Snohomish County Children’s Choir
6:00 Dickens Carolers
4:00 PM Starting at 1st Street and Avenue D in Downtown Snohomish, Santa rides up First St. in a horse-drawn carriage all the way to The Carnegie Building at 105 Cedar Avenue.
4:30 PM Santa Arrives in a horse-drawn carriage and the Community Tree Lighting takes place. After the tree lighting and until 7:00 PM, Santa listens to children’s requests and Kiwanis snap photos with Santa. 4:30-6PM Free Horse-drawn carriage rides for adults and children
