Everyday Struggle

Nina Casey was just going about her typical day at The Northpoint Smokeshop in Tacoma's Browns Point area. She was helping customers when a young caucasian man walks in. He ask for a couple of cartons of smokes as two other customers walk in. He then leaves the store to go sit in his car. A couple minutes go by and he comes back in. Nina already has the cartons waiting. As she is ringing him up she sets the cartons down on the counter, but never letting go of them. As soon as the cartons hit the counter he attempts to snatch them from her. Now, Nina is 105lbs and arounf 5 feet tall. This wannabe thief was roughly 6foot 185lbs. The struggle insues. Things flying off the counters. Nina yells to William, the store owner, as she does the would be thief lets go and runs away to his car. Another real close call at The Nortpoint. Been robbed at gunpoint, now this. Times are hard all over and I think it's just getting to everyone. Nina is better then ever and the would be thief is long gone now. Hopefully soon locked up.

In the future, she should ring up the purchase, collect the money, THEN deliver the cigs. NOBODY buys 2 cartons of smokes at a time these days!

Jimminy Christmas! I can't remember the last time I saw a videotape of someone white robbing someone black. Whites have been historically underrepresented in this form of crime. In the name of diversity, I suggest clemency. YoMomma

For goodness sakes, her life isn't worth a couple cartons of smokes. Let them go next time, what if he had a gun?
