--The Anchor seeks help to document our city’s history--
The Anchor Pub, 1001 Hewitt Ave., wishes to record and validate our city’s history. The Anchor is a neighborhood pub offering drinks, light menu, snacks, music and a place to honor Everett’s rich waterfront history.
We are celebrating waterfront history during the week of Nov. 1-7 with live music, recorded oral histories, newly reprinted historic photos and much more. All are invited to come learn about the people of Everett, the famous Everett Massacre and the changing landscape at the foot of Hewitt.
Anyone can be a part of this meaningful effort and help by volunteering to come and sit in front of the camera telling a story or two about what you remember of Everett’s history.
We kindly request and welcome you to sit on the couch at the Anchor, every Sunday in October 12:00pm-4:00pm to tell your story. Tapes will be played during Everett History Week and a compilation will be produced to play at the anchor.

This is the coolest place in the North Sound. If you are in Everett, WA go there. Happy hour is stupendous and the bands rock!
