North Kitsap enjoyed an Americana Music Festival today at Raab Park in Poulsbo. “My favorite part of the day was listening to local celebrity Vicci Martinez. The music, the weather, and the beautiful park setting - it was all wonderful,” said Poulsbo resident Jody Matson. Multiple musicians, pie eating contests, and face painting were among the many activities. Poulsbo resident Josh Valley said, “The dog park is really cool, I’m definitely coming back. Watching my mom get apple pie all over her face in the pie eating contest was hilarious!” Proceeds from the day’s even went to Stand Up For Kids, an organization that helps feed homeless and street kids.
