Parents, if you were educated about the reasons behind the strike you'd support the teachers. The KSD is corrupt, there is extensive abuse of power, and teachers are not only sacrificing personally, but for you and your kids as well.

Kent teachers are not continuing the strike, the district is with their lack of good faith negotiating. Teachers want to be back in the classroom but without a contact how can we go back? No contact, no school.

I just want my children to return to school, the more time they are missing is taking away from their learning. Kent school district needs to listen to their over worked teachers

The teachers also need to be paid a good wage and be able to do their job effectively, without having time taken away that they can spend on kids, parents and being prepared. Get over it kids. Read or do some math at home while you're waiting.

It's pretty pathetic what's happening to the kids because a group of adults can't sit down and responsibly resolve the problems our schools face right not. I agree with your kids.
