I first found out that my son kaiden had a bone tumor the day before thanksgiving. I was really shocked since we just thought he had a bump on the back of his head like most 2 year olds get by running around and playing. Dr. Morris, neuro surgeon, removed the tumor with no problems and it was not cancerous. Although he was doing better all of his speech or social skills stopped and he had to complete learn how to talk again, still behind for his age though. Now i find out that he has another tumor just 9 months after the first. The doctors said this kind of tumor usually doesnt come back so why did his?? Now it's a priority case. This tumor is right behind his left eye and is coming from the inside of his skull out. They now have a plastic surgeon on the case to try and safe his eye and the structure of his face. Not only does he have to have surgery again but he will also have to go through chemo too. We just found all of this out yesterday. I just want to let people know how strong and brave my 2 1/2 year old son kaiden is and how me and my husband john, who just got home last year from serving 16 months in iraq, are trying to stay strong for him as well. I would also like to know if anyone else has a similar story. I dont know anyone who has gone through something like this either. Thanks

Dr. Morris can also be an A>>H>>> -he operated on my son and when compication arose, Dr. Morris would not return any pages or messages from the hospital. Ultimately my son passed away on Christmas day 1999

I have a three year old son that too has had to undergo several procedures and I know how you feel and fears you have. May God calm those fears and heal your son while keeping your family intact. My prayers are with you during this time. God bless

My son also had a brain tumor when he was 2. Dr Morris in Tacoma did his surgery, His tumor returned when he was 5. But today at 17 he is tumor free and healthy. Don't give up hope - your prayers will be answered. Dr Morris is the best.
