On Friday, July 17, between 5-6pm approximately, I drove from Mt Rainier towards Tacoma on Hwy 706. I pulled over at one of the scenic overlooks on the left side of rhe road in the Lake Alder area. I observed a couple on the right side of the road next to the mountain rocks and they appeared to have just finished spray painting graffitti on the rocks, the only part I could read was "Mike loves .." I couldn't read the last part. They used green and red spray paint.
I did not think it wise to confront them and they had already done the damage. I did take their photos and a photo of what I presume is their car with Washington liscense plate #025-WZM. Perhaps YOU know the couple and will let them know that the kittyhawk caught them with her eagle eye.
