The past year has been pretty difficult for me in terms of change; Delilah has truly been my saving grace. I'm in the process of a divorce and both my children left home. Delilah has adapted so willingly to the changes forced upon her. She makes me laugh everyday and whether I'm gone 5 minutes to check the mail or 10 hours at work . . . she is as equally excited to see me when I return. She is so smart and picks up on things so easily; she is so loving towards kids, adults and other dogs. She has kept me going when things seemed very overwhelming; she helps me keep balance in my life and as strange as it sounds, she has been a tremendous source of support for me

I don't think that's strange. Animals have an amazing perception that we don't give them credit for. A cat I had all through my high school years that went through a marriage, divorce and a marriage that's lasted 34 years! She was my "rock" thru all.
