Shi - My found Puppy

Shi - My found Puppy

A couple of years ago during November my husband and I were driving home about 2:30 am when we saw 2 puppies not more then a few weeks old in the middle of the road.

I told my husband we had to stop and get them before someone hit them. It was cold and wet and they were tired and cold.

Abby, shi's sister was a beautiful brown bull dog mix with black nose(very strong) while shi her sister was a very weak half starved white bulldog . She was so weak we didn't know if she would live. Abby so strong and ever vigilant stood by her sister being the nurse maid.

My daughter came down in the middle of the night and vollunteered to take care of them. We all wondered if Shi would live.

We named her shi because as sick as she was , she was also scared and weak and very shi. Like she hadn't been treated well.

We put up signs, called the humane society and put an add in the paper but no one came to claim them. Of course we fell in love with them both but shi has a special place in our hearts because of her very young life struggle.

Today she is 2 years old and no longer sick but happy and healthy. Oh she's no longer just white. One eye is black one eye is white one ear is black one white. Even her toenails are every other black and white. and she has black spots like a Dalmation and she's no longer shi.

What an inspiring story. Your care and compassion for Shi and her sister gives me hope that good people like you will help our world be a safe home for all in need.
