Last Friday, June 5th at Overlake Terrace, an Assisted Living Community in Redmond, celebrated their Senior Prom for the 12th year with the able support of the Bellevue International School. The excitement for the event had been building during the week and culminated in the arrival of the students in the early afternoon on Friday at Overlake Terrace. From that point on, the pace was set to get everything ready for the Prom at 7pm.
While students busily prepared the decorations and center pieces for the event, staff and family members helped residents at Overlake get ready for the big night. By 6:30 pm the International Schools band was getting set in place in the dining room at Overlake Terrace, and students and staff were helping to transform it into to a fun Prom venue.
All was ready by 7pm and the band began to play ……………
It was a wonderful and colorful event: the highlight of which was the crowning of the King and Queen of Overlake Terrace's Senior Prom. King and Queen Tim and Jean
Mc Anally, were truly taken aback by the award, and for once, Tim was at a loss for words.
