Our 12-year-old son looked up from bouncing on our trampoline to see this young, large eagle land in the top of a tree above him. Eagles are not unusual on the west hill of Auburn, but an adolescent without the white cap & tail is. A fine addition to a beautiful day in the sun.
He stayed, watching us for about 20 minutes. Then took off toward the Auburn valley.
