TEA Party

We had two buses (filled with concerned citizens) that left the Bremerton/Port Orchard area today-to attend the TEA Party (Taxed Enough Already!)

The rally was held at our state capital, Olympia, WA-and what a rally it WAS! Estimates are around 5,000 attended this event. We had guest speakers, music, and an open mike. I'm sure our chants of "No more TAXES" reverberated through the buildings halls!
Many, MANY unique signs were there-even tea bags themselves were part of the adornment! They were hanging from signs, hats and shirts!
Our flag was everywhere! We may be protesting the taxes-but we are PROUD citizens of the USA!

hard to believe that komo 4 doesn't have a story on their home page about the event either local or nationaly. I was there it was a wonderful start to the movement.

Is it obivous or what? KOMO is a partisan hack machine. They do no appear interested in reporting the truth. We are mad as hell and we aren't going to take it any more! Pay attention next election!

5,000 people at a rally and it's not covered! Obviously I can't count on KOMO for my news. How disappointing.

It is unethical not to report major news. 5,000 people at the Capitol steps- Through Sean Penn on the bridge with 50 people and get mass coverage-This lack of coverage should concern America greatly!

5000 people, that's pretty impressive! I would have thought there'd be more coverage. It appears to be news worthy to many people. Is KOMO new sensoring what we see?

Well that's what happens with "mainstream media", they are government controlled! ofcourse, I guess I'm just a "right-wing radical" for suggesting that.

It doesn't surprise me at all that Komo didn't cover this important event. I just hope this movement gains momentum until no one can pretend we don't exist! Let's really pull together for the July 4th Tea Party! Remember...silence is CONSENT!!!

It irritates me that Sarah Palin's stepping down, Steve McNair, and Michael Jackson (still!) got most of the headlines. Fox News just showed reruns of shows on both Saturday and Sunday.
