Bald Eagle Grabs Duck - Caught on Video

We were watching bald eagles in our backyard today swoopping over the lake. Normally when we see this behavior, it's one of them going after fish. However this time two of them were working in tandem. After identifying the prey as a duck, we grabbed the camera to catch the action.

This is making the email rounds again and everyone loves the pics, but the pic captions don't seem to be real..no collision. Love this video. I make sure the link to it is with the pics that are going around.

Why so much sympathy for a duck? The bald eagle deserves to eat too!

A friend sent me a series of pictures about 2 Eagles "fighting over" a duck, so I searched to see if there was video of it. I found this video and it seems to be the same event. The Photographer saw more than the video and said the duck survived.
