The aftermath of the flooding in Centralia wasn't as bad as predicted. But the flooding did put a huge halt to the city of Centralia. Flooding shut down business in The Centralia Factory Outlet Mall as well as other local businesses. I work at the mall, and this flood, the recent snow, and the flooding of Dec. 2007 has affected our local economy in a negative manner. Hopefully, Centralia and the rest of the hard hit flood areas bounce back quickley for the economy.
