A vantage point above Carnation, WA from the Port Blakely Tree Farm. You can see Tolt Middle School, Carnation Tree Farm and the red barn at Tolt-McDonald Park. Our family often enjoys walks through the PB property from our Ames Lake home to Tolt-McDonald Park. We are humbled by the power of the flood, listening to the roaring at the confluence below us. We were very aware of the ancient river that once ran through the valley, carving it into the landscape we know today.
