We have lived right on the skookumchuckin Bucoda for over 20 years and are used to the flooding but it's always right up to inches befor getting in to the house .And once again we have made it threw but many people are are not so lucking in our town. my Husband runs a fence rental busness from are home so it's scary to think of tools and stuff we could have lost iF we were not ready put stuff up or move it out we moved are cars and got ready for the worest and stayed in our home just in case we needed to put the furniter up on blocks .The skookumchuck is great to live on but you have to be ready better safe then sorry!!! This is our home and way of life and plan to be here for manymore years and floods.
