Christmas week, UPS dropped off any packages they couldn't deliver at the Union Fire Station. Armed with Christmas cheer, the fire department mounted their trucks and ATV's and delivered all the packages by Christmas Eve. Even snowbound townfolk on high hilltops received their gifts.
Santa Claus arrived in Union thanks to the help of the fine men and women of Mason County Fire Station No 6.
