Just before Christmas as the snow began to pile up, we noticed this hummingbird flitting outside our dining room window in Silverdale. Needless to say we were amazed to see this little guy staring at us through the glass in the below-freezing temperatures! Our hearts went out to him, and we proceeded to refill a feeder that had been put away for the winter - making sure we brought it inside every few hours so the necter would not freeze. Our little hummer is here everyday, and has blessed our holidays. We hope his nest is nice and warm.
