You may recall my first photo on this site, taken and posted on Sunday, December 21st, showed a little over 8" of snow behind the ruler. On the Christmas Eve photo, the snow depth had risen to 3" above the ruler. This doesn't take into account the 3-4" of snow that had melted to that point. This photo, shot today, Sunday, December 28th, shows some blue sky and very little snow remaining, at least on our patio table in Newcastle. Poor ruler took a tumble as well.
It's a sad day---or is it??
SNOW NO LONGER RULES IN NEWCASTLE!
