Setting the foundation for the igloo.

The Christmas Igloo 2008

Christmas 2008 is definitely a White Christmas! After several days of snowy weather, we were unsure if we would be able to celebrate this special time with our loved ones due to the beautiful, yet slick and slippery wonderland of snow.

In Fairwood, the Victoria and Amoranto families decided to make the most of the over abundance of snow, and make an igloo. Several helpers, including a retired Boeing engineer were on hand to make sure that all the bricks were just right. It took just under 2 hours to complete the igloo with can hold up to 3 adults and 2 small children.

The Victoria and Amoranto families are already wishing for another white Christmas in 2009 so they can construct an igloo mansion!
