The snow-covered trees stood out against a sky marbled with black and gray clouds on the Olympic Peninsula Monday afternoon. The first photo was taken from Coyote Run, a narrow graveled road just outside the Port Angeles city limits; the second photo, of the leafless trees, was taken a little further north, minutes later.
