Olympia apartments are taking special precautions roping off covered parking lots before the worst of the snow hits. With already a foot of snow in the area, managers are unsure of whether the carports will hold up to the wintry conditions forecasted throughout the next week. Roads and sidewalks remain under a thick sheet of glaze ice, keeping most in the area inside their homes.
