Caseyjones is my 5 yr.old pekingese who loves being outside in the snow .Since snow that sticks is not a regular part of our winters in western Washington,Casey will stay outside for hours.He comes in through his dogdoor and heats up in front of the woodstove and then it's back outside to play in the snow!The bringing out of his green and white stripped turtleneck sweater can only mean one thing to him, I'm taking him for his daily walk! Casey is my 4th peke and because their under body is so low to the ground snow clumps form all over his body where the snow attaches to his hair. I put his turtle neck on him more for me so I don't have to freeze my hands breaking up the clumps when we get done with our walk.The first picture is us at the start of our walk before the snow clumps start accumulating and the last 2 are the snow clumps that look like they were purposely attached, which inspired me to write the captions I wrote for each picture.
Caseyjones predicts that turtleneck sweaters will be all the rage in winter dogwear!
