Some hummingbirds choose to winter over in WA State instead of flying farther South. If you have a feeder you might want to fill it and hang it outside. No store bought nectar needed - just mix three parts warm water to one part sugar - and forget the red dye (it's bad for them) as they go after the red of the feeder flowers and not the red liquid in the glass. Just before nightfall they will sit and stock up. In this weather they really need our help!
Maybe they should have flown South...
