There is no traveling from our house today. The snow began before dawn and continues into the afternoon.
There are many two to three times the number of birds in our yard as they come out of the forest behind our property looking for food. Today there are numerous varieties of birds flocking around our many bird feeders.
As I filled bird feeders I noticed deep holes in the snow where the birds had been digging to find sun flower seeds under the empty feeders.
I hope everyone remembers to fill their bird feeders to help our feathered friends through this winter storm.
