Free speech and freedom of religion are on display at the Olympia Capitol Rotunda.
On your right is the traditional Nativity scene. On your left is the non-traditional Solstice declaration.
The State has given permission to display both.
The nation is in an uproar.
Maybe Olympia should give the respective parties proportionate space. (Remember affirmative action?) Allow a hundred Nativity scenes throughout the Capitol grounds and allow one Solstice display. If there are more than 1% atheists in the state, allow them more spaces. All in the name of fairness. Besides, they have equal time. All parties have from now until Christmas to show their displays.
The man in the middle of the displays is Jeff Schumacher. He had a near death experience when he was four years old. He vividly relates how Jesus appeared to him when he was drowning. He sides with the Nativity people. Jeff said that today none of the Solstice people came by the displays.
