Todays weather was expected to be rain but Folks in Bonney Lake got an early taste of winter during a 15 minute hail storm this afternoon. It started as a heavy rain squal but quickly grew into pea sized ice pellets covering the ground completly. Near the end of the storm thunder could be heard and as quickly as it started it end like a faucet being shut off.
