A local restaurant in Kirkland is using the Presidential election in a unique way.
At The Game Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Kirkland, patrons can cast their "vote" for the next Commander-in-Chief based on beer! There are two handcrafted tap handles resembling Barack Obama and John McCain. Customers can take their pick. The votes are tallied each night by recording the sales, and the results are posted the following morning. Both beers are different, but they are equally balanced and refreshing.
As of Monday October 6th, Obama was in the lead 509 to McCain's 497. The owner reported that it has been a very heated race and the daily results closely mirror the national polls. If you love a healthy political debate, and beer, you have to check this out this Kirkland treasure.
