Husky Mascot Tradition Dies
The Cross Family has taken their dogs to every Husky event they were invited to and every Husky Football game for 50 years.
This long standing tradition was passed from Harry Cross to his son Kim, and since has been passed to Kim's children, Karin and Ryan.
Now, the UW President's wife has decided that this traidition should end. Without any notice to the Cross family, she headed a committee to change the 50-year tradition.

I think we should get all of are husky dogs together and wait out in the paking lot. Possibly do a petition or a non violent protest!

If this is a true story, then Emmert and his wife should book companion fares on Ty's outbound flight. Why is she on this committee anyway.

If the Cross family is still willing and able to provide the mascot, they should be allowed to. What a shame to toss aside such a long-standing tradition. Wonder what the reasoning was.

I think that's sad...we don't have many traditions left, and this is a fun one. What's the issue...she doesn't like dogs?!
