Wiener Tales has announced their 2nd Annual Wiener Race Benefit Event. October 5th 2008, the Puyallup Fairgrounds will be the place to be! With races, contests, a parade, and more, you won't have a problem finding something to keep your attention.
In conjunction with Oktoberfest NW, the races will be held to benefit Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society, a national Dachshund Rescue organization, who have recently been hit with a puppy mill raid of over 1000 dogs!
Top prize is $200, and 6 lucky racers will win the chance to race at a Seattle Seahawks Half Time Show! Custom, hand-made trophys, and t-shirts for all heat winners!
Come watch, donate, or join the fun! Racing dogs, and contest entrants MUST be pre-registered online no later than October 1st, and in person at Oktoberfest NW on October 3rd and 4th. We can only accept 100 dogs, so register early.
