My wife was trapped in traffic with no chance of getting home, I stayed up with her, me at Hood Canal and her miles away. Eight hours later she had to get a room along the way. I was in the dark by then with the storm dissipating into the night. Then I looked out into the dark, the moon shining on the snow. This was my silver lining and my chance to try and capture it on film. This is a little of what I saw.
Early morning hours after the Big Storm

Terrific story and terrific photos...The roads along Hood Canal are not exacting snow friendly...Glad things turned out OK.

The snow scene with that bright moon directly over the treetop is a fabulous shot! I thought it was daytime and that moon was the sun when I first happened upon this photo. Beautiful! Definitely a once in a lifetime 'capture'. Kudo's!
