The beautiful fungi photo was taken on a weekly birding walk in Marymoor Park in Redmond.

The Great Blue Heron is flight was taken at Larsen where I walk about three times a week. I was hoping to get it while perched in the morning sunlight, but it took off before I got in position. I ended up getting the heron inflight instead.
