November is National Homeless Awareness month, and StandUp For Kids Tacoma is doing a virtual gear drive. 13 kids die on the street every day in this country from abuse, neglect or suicide. With the winter months approaching, kids need gear to be able to survive the cold weather. Most of these kids are on the street because of abuse at home, and being homeless was the last thing that they wanted for their lives. StandUp For Kids tries to help change that for them. We tell the kids we care about them, and then we prove it at every turn. Will you StandUp with us, for kids?
