For a brief moment this evening, the planet Jupiter was captured by our webcam between the bands of clouds. It is somewhat rare that our camera can actually capture this image; however, with Jupiter near its closest to earth it can be seen in the east sky in the early evening by the naked eye. It can be seen in this photo in the center of the circle.
