Chaplain Rick Bulman became a chaplain with the Tacoma Police Department in 2002, having served for years in trauma recovery for combat veterans, which he continues. Early in 2006 Chaplain Bulman began the fulltime position with the Pierce County Sheriffs Depart,under the auspice of The Tacoma Pierce County Chaplaincy, quickly receiving distinguished credibility with his department and hundreds of citizens who were drastically impacted by tragedy Rick is a Marine Corps combat veteran from the Vietnam War and has further distinguished himself among collaborative support groups and his colleagues in providing aMinistry of presence and care to 1st Responders, victims and families.
