On a recent photography trip to the OR and WA coasts the weather left much to be desired, but the scenery certainly was well worth the trip! My best photos were at Rialto Beach (near La Push) and Cape Flattery (near Neah Bay). Cape Flattery is the farthest NW point in the continental US. Although quite a long drive from Seattle, it is definitely worth your time to make the drive and 1.6 mile round trip hike to the Cape. The Olympic Nat'l Park is nearby - you could spend weeks adventuring there!

Wow, thanks for the great writeup too. Amazing Cape Flattery pic, never been, will have to go.
