Miguel Batista received the award “Words to Inspire 2007” from Latin Pride Magazine in Boston, September 27th. The Pitcher and writer has made the difference in the Latin-American baseball world with his fiction novel “The Avenger of Blood” and his bog in the espndeportes web site. The most read sports web online.
Miguel will be in Orlando (Fla) in November, giving a chat to the Superintendents from all over the United States and he traveling to different Latin-American countries like Panama, Ecuador and Colombia, not only promoting his novel but, making donations to the children who practice baseball in these countries.

Why make a big deal? I read his book. It is rudementary and frankly, it put me to sleep. I don't think he is a writer at all. He doesn't have the element to be one.

I disagree I rather enjoyed his writing. Its all in the interpretation. Perhaps you've set your bar too high.
