The Cybertronian Conference or “CybCon” took place this Saturday at the King Oscar Hotel and Convention Center in Tacoma. CybCon is the Pacific Northwest’s only convention solely dedicated to Transformers, a Hasbro toy line about transforming alien robots that has expanded to numerous cartoon series, comic books, video games, and several popular movies.
Greg Gaub has been organizing CybCon since the beginning and has been working very hard to make this event for the fans. What really sets this convention apart is the personal connection between the fans. It is more like a group of friends that happen to also be Transformer fans. In fact, Gaub actually knows all the attendees to some degree. Due to the pre-registration process, the convention is technically by invitation only.
